Reeves has a 4.0 grade point average and is in the Distinguished Scholars program at HHS.  He scored a 30 on the ACT test. He is a member of Tomcat Voice, the Biology Club, Mu Alpha Theta, the Drama Club, the Interact Club, the HHS Show Choir, and is vice-president of the Spanish Club. He is also a member of InSouth Junior Bank Board/Youth Leadership Haywood County for the 2010-11 school year. He was a cast member in the HHS Drama Department’s presentation of Back to the 80s in 2010 and is portraying the Cowardly Lion in the Drama Department’s upcoming presentation of The Wizard of Oz. He volunteers with the Backpack Program, which provides food for children in need from Haywood County Schools each weekend. In the summer of 2010, he attended the Tennessee Governor’s School for the Humanities at the University of Tennessee at Martin along with 75 other distinguished students across Tennessee. He is a member of Brownsville Baptist Church and is active in the youth group. He enjoys playing sports, singing, playing the piano, acting, and reading. Although undecided about where he will attend college, he plans to major in English before pursuing graduate studies at a Southern Baptist seminary.
