Kaylee Avant joins 30+ Club

Senior Kaylee Avant has qualified as a member of the Haywood High School 30+ Club. She is a senior and the daughter of Laura Haywood and Jeff Avant. Kaylee made a 30 on the ACT is holds a 3.94 GPA.

Kaylee was the student director of the HHS Drama Department’s production of Li’l Abner. She has served as the Show Choir Manager, is the Beta Club Secretary, French Club President, and is a member of the Drama Club and HOSA. She was a member of the Junior Leadership Class and has volunteered for the HHS Baseball team in the concession stand. Kaylee attends Zion Baptist Church and is active in the youth group there. She is also a volunteer at the Carl Perkins Center.

She plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin.

Other members of this HHS elite academic 30+ Club are seniors Reeves Garrett, Taylor Primrose, Seth Tillman, Kaitlyn Schwarz, Madison Eubanks and Daniel Evans and junior Molly McAdams. The club was organized in the 2009-2010 school year with Anna Baumheckel and Andrew Pearson as the charter members. Other members were Audrey Pattat, Alex Primrose, Nathan Peace and Breanne Sills, all of whom graduated in 2010 and 2011.
