Three artists win contest
The Brownsville Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse chose an Alice in Wonderland theme for the coloring contest they sponsored for students at Anderson Early Childhood Center. April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. The winners were Parker Binion, daughter of Ashley and Sharshi Binion; Blaine Winchester, son of Brian and Brook Winchester; and Jaya Harvell, daughter of Victoria Harvell. Each won an Easter basket for their prize. Pictured with the winners are representatives of the Carl Perkins Center, Gayle Williams, Natasha Bond, Lakisha Jones, Jody Lea and Carl Perkins Center Director Beth Wilson.
