Dr. Tracie Scott, Deputy Superintendent

Dr. Tracie Scott hails from the state of Mississippi, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Delta State University. She has twenty-seven years of experience teaching and leading in a K-12 setting. Dr. Scott’s leadership journey started as an assistant principal at White Station Elementary, where she also became principal. In 2017, she was named Memphis-Shelby County Schools (MSCS) Principal of the Year. Dr. Scott also served as a principal supervisor, with a network of fourteen schools and principals, serving over ten thousand students. Additionally, she served as Assistant Superintendent of Professional Learning & Support and was responsible for developing teachers, leaders, and central office staff at MSCS.
