Three Haywood County Schools scarecrows received prizes in the Hatchie Fall Fest annual contest that displays them on the court square. In the Adult category, the Haywood County Schools Central Office entry won first place, and in the Children’s division, Haywood Elementary School’s entry won second place and Anderson won third place. East Side Elementary and Haywood Junior High School also had great scarecrows on the courthouse lawn.
