New 30+ Club members recognized at school board meeting
At the July School Board meeting, Superintendent Marlon King recognized two new members of the Haywood High School 30+ Club. Students must make a 30 or above on the ACT to earn membership in the club. Rebecca Pearson, daughter of John and Denise Pearson, and Chris Parker, son of Master Sergeant (Ret) John Mark and Bette Parker, each received certificates and congratulations from Dr. King for qualifying for membership.
