PEP hosts community-wide pep rally on Court Square lawn
Members of the PEP (Parents and Educators for Progress in Haywood County Schools) were the hosts for a community-wide pep rally on the court square in downtown Brownsville Thursday, September 18. The square was packed with lots of families and children and supporters who gathered for a few speeches and a thank you for supporting Haywood County Schools. Both HHS and HMS cheerleaders let the crowd in cheers. Joining PEP leaders Abby Nichols and Casey Berry on the stage were Brownsville Mayor Bill Rawls and Haywood County Mayor Franklin Smith, Superintendent of Schools Teresa Russell, and all school principals.
