Members of the Haywood County Retired Teachers Association gathered in the dining area of the HHS Career and Technical Division on Tuesday, December 4, at noon to enjoy lunch together in honor of the holidays. The HHS Culinary Class, under the direction of Tim Hayes, prepared the delicious luncheon of chicken and rice, salad and Mr. Hayes’ famous strawberry cake. Each member brought a stuffed animal to be donated to the Brownsville Fire and Police departments for children they help. Peggy Haynes serves as president of the organization, and the membership sends Merry Christmas wishes to everyone.
