HHS Tomcats complete phenomenal season

The 2013-14 Basketball Tomcats finished the season 27-2 and were ranked as high as No. 2 in the State of Tennessee.  Seniors were Sadarius Delk, Montravious Currie, Patrick Cephus, Xavier Delk, and Jeffrey Starks. These seniors finished their varsity careers with an overall record of 72-20 win percentage of .782 and a district record of 38-8 win percentage of .826.  In the past three seasons, the Haywood Tomcats have finished third place, district champion, and district runner-up.

“This year’s team saw the community come out in numbers that we have not seen in years,” Coach Kendall Dancy said. “We are thankful for everyone’s support and look forward to next year!”

Members of the Junior Varsity Tomcats team are Keyshawn Brummett, Jatavius McGuire, Kentavious Wilson, Javonte Walker, Kortavious Jones, Tristan Jarrett, Montavious Pugh, Dedric Boyd, Shuraveun Hines, Jalin Turner, Isiah Henning, and Eric Rogers.
