Six FCCLA students to compete at state
On Tuesday, January 23, FCCLA students competed in District STAR Events at Union University. Alexiis Bean competed in Life Event Planning and placed first in her division. Jaylen Bledsoe competed in Career Investigation and placed first in his division. Chelsea Clark competed in Illustrated Talk and placed fourth in her division, Whitney Ostrom and Ashley Vasquez competed in Food Innovations and placed first in their division, and Alex Williams competed in Leadership and placed first in her division.
“The students have really demonstrated their hard work and dedication to this program,” said FCCLA sponsor Sarah Haynes.” All of these students will advance and compete at the state level in March in Chattanooga.
