HHS students hear about a personal health program
Haywood High Wellness and PE students participate annually in a Personal Health program. This is an abstinence-based educational course that students’ parents must sign permission for before they can participate. Freida Shields, instructor, presents the four-day course. The course is provided by Centerstone, a non-profit agency, who serves most of the counties in Tennessee. The arrangements are made through Haywood Schools Coordinated School Health and the Health Department.
