Brittany Ferrell
Anderson Teacher of the Year

 Mrs. FerrelI grew up in Jackson, Tennessee, and now lives in Brownsville. She is married to Jonathan Ferrell, and they have two foster children and a golden doodle. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Education for Teaching All Learners from the University of Memphis. She taught at Haywood Elementary for five years and this is her second year at Anderson. Brittany has applied for and received five mini-grants from Haywood County Schools. She is a member of the Iota Chapter of ADK and a member of the 16th Review Club. She and her husband are the youth leaders at Zion Baptist Church. Mrs. Ferrell was also chosen as the District Teacher for Grades PreK through fourth grade.
