Two Tomcat softball players signed to play softball in college. Kirsten Porch will be attending Jackson State Community College. She is the daughter of Keith and Julie Porch. Kirsten was a varsity pitcher her freshman, sophomore and senior year, and didn’t play her junior year. As a freshman she won MVP, Rookie of the Year, and All-district awards. As a sophomore she received an All-District award. The awards for this year have not been announced. Kirsten was recruited as a pitcher for the JSCC GreenJays.

Leigha Bailey will be attending William Penn University in Oskaloosa Iowa, a NAIA Athletic Division University. She is the daughter of Jeff and Christy Bailey. She played all four years at the varsity center field position for the Tomcats. She will play outfield for the WPU Statesmen.
