HMS band hosts spring concert

On Thursday, April 29, Haywood Middle School’s band entertained family and friends in their first concert of the year. The group showcased their talent with three polished pieces, one of which, Spring Time Love, was arranged and composed by HMS band director himself, DeRayiz D. Claybon, a 2016 Haywood graduate and alumni. Claybon said the ensemble is “musically inclined and eager to learn.”
