On November 3, East Side Intermediate School Triple A before- and after-school program students took a field trip to Donnell Century Farm in Jackson, Tennessee. On the farm the students participated in the following activities: cotton wagon jump, slides, tractor tires, corn maze, hayride, hay mountain and they visited with the barnyard animals.

Also the students enjoyed lunch at McDonald’s. The students wrote essays about the farm. Some students made post cards, and others made booklets with illustrations. The Triple A staff includes Katrina Hill, Raven Powell, Samantha Davis, Leigh Ann Allen, Kathleen Holmes, Latresa Bond, Wanda Bond, and Coach Brett Grant. Catherine Lester serves as the Site Coordinator, and Sandra Humphreys is the principal.
