The true Spirit of Christmas came alive for the students in Mrs. Cheri Velotta’s class. Students worked at home to earn money to buy Christmas for their “Christmas Child.” The little entrepreneurs worked diligently and raised $98. On Monday, December 5, 10 students met with Mrs. Cheri and shopped at Wal-Mart. With their earnings, they were able to get all the things on the wish list for their child. The sparkle in their eyes told the story … it IS more blessed to give than to receive!
