The character trait for the six weeks was “Fairness,” and a student from each grade level was selected to receive recognition for exhibiting this trait. The Rotary Club presented a bicycle to a first-grade student who had perfect attendance for the six weeks. The Brownsville Police Department added a helmet for the winning student to insure his safety.
