Students in Mrs. Elizabeth Lovelace’s first-grade eCLASS recently learned all about apples and Johnny Appleseed. In celebration of Johnny Appleseed’s birthday on September 26, students completed an apple family project where they had to describe the inside and outside of an apple, draw pictures of what they saw on their investigation, and complete some word puzzles using the letters in apples. Then on Friday, September 24, students learned all about the life of Johnny Appleseed by watching a short virtual movie.  After the movie, students made their very own hats in which they labeled “(student’s name) Appleseed.”  Fun was had by all!
