On Thursday, March 31, students at East Side were recognized for their achievements during the 3rd nine weeks grading period. The East Side family was delighted to welcome representatives from the Rotary Club, in partnership with the Brownsville Police Department, to present bicycles to two recipients of the Character Award. The fourth-grade winner was Cristhofer Ocegueda from Mrs. Deborah Kelso’s homeroom, and the fifth-grade winner was Marcela Sanchez from Mrs. Cecilia Frost’s homeroom. Way to go Wildcats!
