At East Side, we believe that “Reading Opens Doors to the World.” To begin our new reading initiative for this school year, we held a kickoff celebration in the gym on Friday, August 29. This celebration featured our grade-level book selections, The Magic Treehouse series and the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. It was a blast! Our students are so excited about reading this year. Once again, we thank our auxiliary teachers for their creativity and their hard work in bringing the books to life.
