HHS students place in state HOSA contests
Seven Haywood High School students competed at the HOSA State Leadership Convention in Nashville March 4 through the 6 at the Opryland Hotel. Maggie Herron, Allix Lonon, and Morgan Marlar placed second at regional competition with their PSA on hypertension. Enchantra Henderson and Emily Wright placed fifth at state competition with their career health display on emergency medical services. Cassidy Hendrix and Katie Lewis were members of the voting delegation representing the Haywood County Chapter of HOSA. Kristin Carlton and Julie Taylor are their advisors for the HHS HOSA group.
