HHS FBLA Members Compete In State Contest
2013 HHS FBLA State Competitors were (front) Ebony Clark, Ricarnicea Johnson, Quinton Douglas, Destiny Williams, Kenston Thomas; (second row) Jamie April, Jamira Jarrett, Aaliyah Bailey, Madison Smith; and (third row) Kaayla Cunningham, Montravious Maclin, Crystal Shepard, Ka’men Pickens and Kylan Brown.
Haywood High School FBLA students who placed in the Top Five at the regional level advanced to compete in the Chattanooga, Tennessee, Convention Center April 8-10, 2013. Competitors competed in different business events such as Business Presentation, Digital Video Production, Public Speaking, Impromptu Speaking, and Parliamentary Procedure as well as events that tested students’ knowledge of FBLA Principles and Procedures. HHS students performed well, networked with other FBLA students and business professionals, and gained hands-on experience about the business world expectations.
