Anderson ceremony honors 203 graduates
The Anderson Early Childhood Center Kindergarten Class of 2019, which will be the Haywood High School of 2031, had 203 graduates, and they were honored in a graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 23. Principal Charles Bynum and Assistant Principal Linda G. Sanders, along with other staff members, conducted the three ceremonies for the 11 classes of graduates. After the welcome and invocation, AECC Kindergarten Graduates opened the ceremony when they sang their version of “First Grade, First Grade.”
Students with perfect attendance were recognized as well as those on the Reading Wall of Fame Top Readers: Stephan Moses, Kenzie Cross, Olivia Murphy, Kaiden Malone, Parker Clagg, Jase Gaters, Sophie Haynes, and Mason Hathcock.
