Anderson welcomes new den leader
Anderson cubs welcomed a new leader to their beloved den Monday, March 1. The top cub at Anderson Early Childhood Center is Crockett-native Chris Haliburton. With 14 years education experience, the most recent two as assistant principal at East Side Elementary School in Brownsville, Haliburton says he’s truly excited about his new role and is “looking forward to making a positive impact in the lives of all our students.” Haliburton told The Brownsville Press he’ll begin by “focusing on building positive relationships with staff and students,” expressing he wants to be an asset to both. He adds that he’s a big kid at heart, knows when to be fun and silly, and promises “I’ll do what it takes to put a smile on a kid’s face.” And what better timing than Dr. Seuss’s Read Across America Week to do those very things. Pictured below, Haliburton dons his rainbow attire for Many Colors Monday.
