Coach Messer brought his seventh-period baseball team to Haywood Elementary to read to our students during our school-wide read aloud time. This was such an excellent experience for all! The children were so engaged in listening to the “big boys” read to them. There were smiles everywhere you looked. The Baseball Buddies will return every Wednesday to read to us. We are so thankful that Coach Messer is supportive of our Haywood Reads initiative!
