Chelsea Owens crowned HHS Basketball Homecoming Queen
During the Haywood High School Basketball Homecoming ceremonies on Saturday, January 29, Chelsea Owens was crowned queen. Runner-up was Kelsey Smith, second runner-up was Alexis Peeples, and third runner-up was Bria Jelks. Selected as class representatives were: seniors – Alesha King and Holland Aguayo, juniors – Ashley Woods and Taylor Primrose (not pictured), sophomores – Jasmine Taylor and Sarah Lewis, and freshman – Lindsey Long and Ashley Reed.
HHS students cheered the teams on at a pep rally on Friday led by the basketball cheerleaders and “StacMot.”
