East Side boys with their fathers or significant father-type figure were treated to a basketball shoot out on April 5th as one Haywood County’s C-3 Chronic Disease Grant’s activities to increase physical activity and physical fitness in our youth.

First-place winners were 4th grader Bishop Owens and his partner Hykieem Perry and 5th grader Lucas Fisher and his partner Shay Fisher. Second-place winners were 4th grader Camarion Miller and his partner Montavious Miller and 5th grader Ja’marion Russell and his partner Keithon Powell. Winners received gift cards to Sky Zone in Jackson.
