Haywood Middle School student Eve Carter was the lucky winner of an Ipod from a drawing of participants in the GEAR UP College App Week September 30-October 4. She won a prize on the local level, then the Ipod on the state level, too. She is an 8th grader at HMS. Director of the GEAR UP TN program in Haywood County Schools is Jackie Whitten.
