Haywood High School Homecoming 2015
Haywood High School celebrated Homecoming 2015 with the theme “Tomcats Take Over” and competitions among the classes, including special dress-up days, pep rally spirit, hall decorations, the Powder Puff game and floats in the annual parade that featured entries from other schools and the community. The sophomores won the float contest and the Powder Puff game. Juniors won the hall decorations competition, and seniors won the best spirit at the pep rally. Overall the sophomores won the Spirit Stick for Homecoming 2015.
During the game at halftime, Class representatives and the Homecoming Court were presented. Members of the court were (from left) Taylor Ann King, first maid McKenzie Scott, Queen Kayla Rogers, second maid Felescia Sanders, Hannah Stanley and Mary Wyatt Pettigrew. Serving as representatives were (from left) Ahmadia Hines and Jamya Douglas (Freshman), Gracie Glaser and Mattie Ford (Sophomores), Morgan Hendrix and Kamaya Burrell (Juniors), and Audrey Davis and Charity McGhee (Seniors). The Tomcats fought a hard battle against the Hardin County Tigers, but lost by 1 point with a score of 21 to 20.
