HE students receive awards for third six weeks
During the first-grade third six weeks awards program at Haywood Elementary, students were recognized for Perfect Attendance. One lucky first grader’s name was chosen; he received a bicycle from the Rotary Club, and the Brownsville City Police Department donated a helmet. Reading Wall of Fame students were recognized as well with the class award going to Mrs. Valerie Sceal’s class. Mrs. Sceal’s class also received the Fitness Award for the six weeks. Parents and students enjoyed a “meet and greet” in the Family Resource Center with Assistant Principal Edith Giles-Williams
