HES Art on the Lawn

The rain held off just long enough, after having already caused one reschedule, for Haywood Elementary School’s Art on the Lawn last Tuesday, May 11. In an effort to support COVID consciousness all while enjoying the beautiful Spring weather, the school opted outdoors for its end-of-year art showcase, featuring masterpieces by first and second grade Pouncers. Guardians were gifted a hand-made portfolio with a year’s worth of artistic treasures. Students were treated to on-site crafts, take-home gifts and concessions were available, including the wildly popular snow cones.
