Haywood Elementary School said “Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!” and celebrated Read Across America Week in a big way this year. The faculty and staff all dressed up as Seuss book characters and turned the halls and doors into Seussville! The students completed reading activities, and they had many guest readers throughout the day in the classrooms. The goal was for students to see that reading is “Fun!”
