Haywood Elementary had a great turnout for the school’s Book Fair held October 27 through November 3. According to HES librarian Dawn Lovelace, the money raised this year will be used to purchase new playground equipment. “This is a school-wide effort to provide this equipment for our students,” she said. Students were allowed to come each day last week, when their teachers brought them, to purchase books and other items from the library.
