HES Introduces Student Authors
When the school board met on April 14, several Haywood Elementary students gave a presentation for board members and guests. These students, Caleb Morris, Aubrey Frye and Keaston Middlebrooks, read their entries in a book written by them and their classmates. Mrs. Elizabeth Lovelace’s class at Haywood Elementary School wrote a book called If I Were a Superhero. Each student wrote his or her own selection and illustrated a picture to go in the book. Once the editing process was completed, the book published. They were all very excited to receive a hardbound book with their work in it!
