HES students recognized for excellence
Haywood Elementary School held its fourth and final Pep Rally for the 2018-2019 school year, recognizing students for their subject class work, behavior, and other areas in which they excelled. Teachers participated by presenting the certificates to their students, as did Principal Anna Roberts, Assistant Principal Edith Giles-Williams, Instructional Facilitator Brittany Pittman, Librarian Dawn Lovelace and others. Everyone joined Mrs. Roberts in bidding farewell to Mrs. Williams, who is leaving to work in the Fayette County School System. Also congratulating the students were Patty Pouncer (Music teacher Patricia Gaietto) and 3rd grader Cadence Pearson.
