HES students collect for furry friends
The students of Haywood Elementary participated in a Furry Friends Drive for our local humane society. There was a team of students that made posters, promoted, and collected over 500 pounds of dog food, cat food, and cat litter to give to the Brownsville Humane Society. They also collected blankets, toys, and treats for these animals. The students were very generous and helpful to our furry friends during the month of September.
