HHS FCCLA members attend Leadership meeting at UTM
Mrs. Nekita Johnson and Mrs. Denita Jarratt recently took members from their FCCLA Chapters to The University of Tennessee at Martin to attend the FCCLA Fall Leadership meeting. This event was held to build the leadership skills of the students. A portion of their registration fee was donated to The Children’s Miracle Network. These meetings were held in several locations throughout the state. West Tennessee had double the
attendance of any other region and as a result made the largest donation to The Children’s Miracle Network.
Mrs. Jarratt’s Chapter won the award for largest attendance with 58 students. Together Mrs. Johnson and Mrs. Jarratt’s chapters had the largest attendance from the state of Tennessee. While there, the students toured the University campus, housing, the
Family and Consumer Sciences Department as well as the onsite daycare center.
