HHS FCCLA Members Win Gold And Silver At Leadership Conference

Members from Haywood High School’s three FCCLA chapters attended the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in Chattanooga, Tennessee, this past week. All participating students received a gold or silver medal. Mikayla Leath, competing for Mrs. Jarratt’s chapter, received a gold medal for reciting the FCCLA Creed; Victoria Perry, competing for Mrs. Noles’ chapter, received a silver medal in the same category. Titus Newble, competing for Mrs. Haynes’s chapter, received a silver medal and first place in the Nutrition and Wellness competition. Titus qualified to represent the State of Tennessee at the National level in San Diego, California, this summer. Adara Donald was elected as the new Tennessee FCCLA state President. Mrs. Haynes’ chapter won the Membership Campaign award. Haywood County was well represented at the State Leadership Conference with many decorated competitors and voting delegates. Congratulations to all of these students. The FCCLA advisers are very proud of their students’ hard work and dedication!
