HHS Holds College Application Week

Haywood High School held College Application week this fall, and all seniors had an opportunity to visit the guidance office and get help applying for the college of their choice. This was an exciting time for seniors to take their first step of life after high school. Local businesses were generous enough to sponsor this event for the seniors and make a donation toward a laptop computer and Apple iPad. The guidance office held a drawing and the winners of the prizes were Mary Catherine Currie, who won the ipad, and Jimmie Covington, who won the laptop computer. Haywood High School extended its appreciation to the sponsors for contributing to local schools and the community.
