HHS HOSA Members Celebrate National HOSA Week
HHS student members and sponsors celebrated HOSA’s celebration of National HOSA Week, November 3 – 9. HOSA Week is a wonderful opportunity to promote health science students, the mission of HOSA and service to others. During that week, HOSA students had ice cream sandwiches at break. Wednesday was professional dress day. Students wore scrubs to school to show the number of students enrolled in Health Science courses. On Thursday, HOSA students went to the Memphis Zoo Education Department for a presentation on careers. Friday was celebrated with HOSA students wearing HOSA T shirts. Also during the week of celebration, HOSA students completed their weekly service project by packing food for the BackPack Club. Sponsors for the organization that is part of the Career and Technical Department are Julie Taylor and Brandlin Turner.
