HHS welcomes students
Haywood High School students gathered with their class groups on the first day of school on August 5. Members of the Class of 2017 staged an epic drive-in after gathering at another location. Then they came together at the flag pole with balloons to pay tribute to two deceased class members – Kashada Jordan and Tekarian “Tmac” Maclin. Principal Jerry Pyron said the school is opening with 921 students.
