HHS Seniors Graduate
Haywood High School seniors were thrilled with the warm sunshine and a breeze as the backdrop for their high school graduation ceremony on Saturday morning, May 19, at L. Z. Hurley Memorial Stadium. Two-hundred-seven students received their diplomas and are looking forward to attending college or a trade school and expanding their education and skills to prepare for a bright future. Dr. Logan Hampton, President of Lane College, was the guest speaker. Superintendent Joey Hassell also spoke to the students, and Principal Latonya Jackson, along with Director Reach Academy Drayton Hawkins, and Assistant Principals Paige Ferguson and Steve Hookfin, assisted Mrs. Jackson with the ceremony.
