HHS Show Choir Competes In Heritage Music Festival
The HHS Show Choir competed in the Heritage Music Festival in Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday, April 5, placed first in their division and received a silver rating. This is the 11th year the choir has competed with Heritage Music Festival. While in Chicago, choir members and chapherones enjoyed visiting the Sears Tower (Willis Tower now), ate Geno’s Legendary Pizza, enjoyed the Untouchables Gangster Tour, the Navy Pier, the Nutella Store in Eately, a Blue Man Group performance and The Medieval Times Theater, and the dinner and awards ceremony. For their performance in the festival, the choir sang “Stronger,” “Anyway,” and “Roar.” The HHS Show Choir is under the direction of Michelle Tillman.
