Madison Smith And Jalin Turner Crowned Homecoming Queen And King
The Haywood High School basketball teams celebrated Homecoming 2016 on Saturday, January 16. The ceremony was held before the games, and presented first were the Class Representatives. Representing the Freshman class were Kemyia Evans and Iyana N. Taylor; the Sophomore class, Jamirah Shutes and Tyeasha Starks; Junior class, Noelita Hall and Victoria Perry; and the Senior class, Kezira Horton and Charity McGhee. Selected to the Court were Chardé Cherry, Aniyah Harwell, Dedric Boyd, Madison Smith, Jalin Turner, Timia Tharpe, and Je’Lessia Williams. Crowned Homecoming Queen and King were Madison Smith and Jalin Turner. Prince was Dedric Boyd, First Princess was Timia Tharpe and Second Princess was Aniyah Harwell.
