Members of the local Retired Teachers Association enjoyed their annual holiday luncheon on Tuesday, December 2, in the HHS Career and Tech “dining room.” The dining area is in the C & T commons, and preparing and serving the meal were Culinary Arts students of Mrs. Vickie Noles. The menu was chicken and rice, green beans, congealed salad and dessert. The culinary students received special recognition and thanks from the teachers for their meal. It was a delightful holiday celebration with the HHS Women’s Ensemble performing several Christmas songs for the group, under the direction of Choir Director Ashley Jackson. Scheduling the lunch was retired C & T teacher Peggy Haynes.
