Students Participate In Public Health Week
Students at Haywood Elementary School recently participated in Public Health Week by drawing pictures that show active living or healthy eating. The Health Department, UT Extension office, and Coordinated School Health sponsored the art contest. The judges were from out of town and said that it was really hard to choose the winners because they all were great!
The winners are: Layla Wallace, first place – first grade; Joselyn Juarez Morales, first grade – second place; Kamia Somerville, third place – first grade; – Layla Wallace, first place – first grade; Lauraleigh Whitman, second place – third grade; Jayden Hensle, 3rd place – second grade; Cam Barr, first place – second grade; Jaiden Bishop, first place – third grade; Maliyah Brand, third place – third grade; Mahek Bhakta, second place – second grade.
