Tom Meiners, Chief Meteorologist for the WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Storm Team, recently visited Anderson to talk to and teach kindergarteners all about the weather.  

Tom grew up interested in all things weather related.  During his time studying meteorology at North Carolina State University he began to no longer see weather casting as any ordinary job, but as a way to help save lives during times of inclement weather.

Students were enthralled with all the science experiment style demonstrations and video that he brought along to share as they learned all about weather.
