The tooth fairy paid a visit to all the kindergarten students at Anderson recently, since it was Dental Health Week for them. Dwanna Hughes, Outreach Coordinator for the Tennessee Market of DentaQuest, showed them three really cute videos about germs and tooth decay, how to brush and take care of their teeth, and eating good, healthy foods instead of gooey, cavity-causing sweets. She then demonstrated the proper way to brush and floss teeth, and concluded the visit with a goody bag of toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and stickers for every student! Good thing Valentine’s Day was already over!!! Haywood Schools Health Coordinator Cindy Smith arranged the event.
