First “Coffee and Conversation” at HHS
September 26 was the first of an opportunity for the community to come together with educators, students, and administrators of Haywood County Schools. The “Coffee and Conversation” get-together the first week was at Haywood High School. Principal Latonya Jackson and Sunny Hill Learning Center Director Stephen May spoke to the visitors and talked about what is going on at each school. Each School will be a host to the get-together throughout the year. The purpose of the “conversation” is to give the community the opportunity to learn more about each of the schools, students, and the staff and administrators and about the curriculum and activities at each school.
