Nursing students assist in health screenings
Nursing students in Mrs. Julie Taylor’s class at HHS assisted Coordinated School Health in providing hearing, vision, height, weight and blood pressure screening to first- and second-grade students at Haywood Elementary the last week in September. Coordinated School Health provides this screening to all students in grades PreK, K 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 and the Wellness class at HHS each year. Here are some of the student nurses hard a work. The students who assisted Cindy Smith, Gail Steele and Deborah Woods are Diamond Jackson, LaDawn Ammons, Theodore Martin, Brandy Jones, Katie Lewis, Jennifer Hampton, Maggie Herron, Allix Lonon, Dwane Jarrett, Ca’Necia Bell and Erin Dennis. What a great group. Thanks for all your help!
